About the teacher

Hi, I’m Ysa.

I’m a native Spanish speaker from Venezuela, and I’m excited to share my language and culture with you. My goal is to create a welcoming space where you can ask questions, practice, and build confidence.

I have experience teaching Spanish in early childhood, where I saw how much curiosity, play, and patience matter when discovering a new language. I also hold a degree in computer engineering, which shapes the way I teach: clear structure, one step at a time, with plenty of room to practice. Today my focus is language learning — and as a current student of Japanese, I know firsthand what it feels like to begin from zero.

This beginner group course is a way to share something meaningful with my church community and others who would like to learn. I also offer personalized private lessons for children, teens, and adults.
